Traffic regulations for the Sunday, March 3, Tokyo Marathon 2024

2024.02.21

The Tokyo Marathon 2024 will be held on Sunday, March 3. On that day, there will be long periods during which vehicles will not be allowed on the marathon course or nearby streets. Bicycles and pedestrians will not be permitted to cross the course itself.

Please note: If you are planning to visit the museum on that day, you may not be able to cross Chuo-dori (the Ginza main street), since it is on the marathon course. It has been announced that streets in the vicinity of the museum will be affected by these rules from 8:55 am to 15:00 pm.

During this period, we recommend that visitors approach the museum from the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Kyobashi Station (Exit 6) or the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line/Tozai line and Toei Asakusa Line Nihombashi Station (Exit B1).
