The Ishibashi Foundation was established by Ishibashi Shojiro, a successful entrepreneur who was extensively involved in cultural work. The foundation’s two pillars are the museum programs of the Artizon Museum in Kyobashi, Tokyo (formerly the Bridgestone Museum of Art), and donation and grant programs which support artistic, cultural, and educational activities. In recognition of the public benefit of its activities, the foundation was accredited by the Prime Minister as a Public Interest Incorporated Foundation in April 2012.
Ishibashi Foundation Art Research Center
The Ishibashi Foundation Art Research Center (ARC) was established in 2015 as the research institution of the Artizon Museum (formerly the Bridgestone Museum of Art). The center studies, researches, preserves, and restores works of art, and collects and stores informational materials. In addition, the center has been hosting school groups and holding workshops, lectures, and other events for the general public since 2017. A library for researchers (university students and up) is also available. The ARC conducts a variety of activities as an additional base of the Artizon Museum.

We work to increase the popularity and familiarity of this area as a new art hub.
Kyobashi Saiku is a collective term for the artistic and cultural facilities in the Kyobashi block development plan. It consists of the Artizon Museum in the lower stories of Museum Tower Kyobashi, the New Toda Building Cultural Facility (tentative name; managed by Toda Corporation) in the lower stories of the New Toda Building (tentative name), and an outdoor space called Art Square (tentative name; managed by Kyobashi Saiku Area Management).

“Binetsu Joshi” is a collaborative Twitter account that was launched on November 9, 2016 by three museums: the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, and the Artizon Museum. This account conveys the appeal of art from a general perspective to stimulate interest in a wide variety of works of art.
