Schedule Change for Monet: Questioning Nature A special exhibition from the Musée dʼOrsay and Musée de lʼOrangerie

The Artizon Museum has held repeated discussions with the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie towards holding this exhibition this autumn (from October 2 to January 10, 2022). Given, however, the state of the coronavirus pandemic in both Japan and France, we have decided to delay its opening.

This exhibition had been planned as a special exhibition for 2020, the year in which the Artizon Museum opened. The repeated delays in its opening are extremely unfortunate. Nonetheless, this further delay, we have concluded, is unavoidable in order to present the ideal line up of these invaluable French works in a safe manner. The date at which the exhibition will be held is undecided.
