Organized with support from the French Embassy, it included paintings in oils, pastels, and gouaches as well as sketches, dry lacquer carvings, lithographs, copperplate engravings, and other works by Paul Augustin Aizpiri, Hayashi Takeshi, Hasegawa Kiyoshi, and others.
